I’ll never forget that night, sitting on his verandah smoking our post sex ciggarettes, he says ’ You and Bec should be best friends’ I laugh it off, thinking to myself ‘that dream will never come true… for her’. A few weeks later I go to a party full of losers, all drunk and ugly. Shortly after getting fucked in the bathroom by some sweaty beast, she walked in through the back gate like a shiny beacon of normality. She sits down and beckons for me to come talk to her, I do so, slightly nervous and excited. She tells me to straddle her. I slowly open my legs and gently slide myself onto her lap. ‘I’m really heavy, I don’t want to hurt you’ she then proceeds to tell me not to be silly and to put all my weight on her, that she loves the feeling of pressure on her legs. She doesn’t even know the pressure that was coming her way, I was about to blow her mind. We look into each other eyes, something i cant describe happened that night. We spent the rest of the evening laughing and comparing stories. I tell her about my dirty little secret that happened in the bathroom and I can tell her heart breaks just a little, I smile and reassure her that it meant nothing. I left that party, walked to my car with a smile on my face knowing that it was going to be the start of something beautiful and intense. I thought to myself as I was driving home to bed, alone, ‘I wonder if she felt that too?’ To this day I would not trade this love for the world, when she looks at me and smiles I know that everything is going to be okay because I have the love of the most beautiful girl in the world.
